Despite how much Kim wanted to help financially, the difference in their income caused Kim stress, so his partner told him to put his happiness ahead of helping financially.
However, his sister, who also earns more than her partner, criticized Kim for not contributing enough financially, which upset him.
He talked to his sister about it and defended Kim, telling her how upset he was about her rude comments.
Although he later felt bad for yelling at her, he believed it was unfair for her to project her financial frustrations onto him and Kim.
