Taylor Swift shocked her fans at her concert in Melbourne, Australia, by mixing three songs into one. She started with "Getaway Car" from her album Reputation. "August" from Folklore came next, and "The Other Side of the Door" from Fearless was the last one.

Fans noticed that all three songs touch on themes of cheating in relationships. In "Getaway Car," Swift sings about being in a complicated situation involving three people. "August" tells the story of a teenage love triangle, while "The Other Side of the Door" questions if someone was worth the heartache.
“I want to play one that you really want to hear, I want you to be happy,”, she posted on Twitter.
Swift's Eras Tour, celebrating her past albums, started in March 2023. While each show features sections dedicated to different albums, there are also sets for two rotating additions, keeping fans guessing about the setlist.
During her concerts, Swift hinted that she might open up all her songs for surprise performances when she resumes touring in 2024. She also mentioned that songs from her 2022 album, Midnights, are fair game, along with her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, set to release in April. However, it's uncertain if she'll incorporate songs from TTPD into her setlist or surprise song section.
"Taylor Swift's song choices are intriguing to me. Her concert setlist is truly all about cheating, and it makes me think about relationship complexity. Anyway, it's a brave move that goes against common stories about love and loyalty", notes Wilda Harrison, a relationship psychologist.
