Recently, a 23-year-old woman from Florida shared a shocking TikTok video about how she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her. Mikayla Miedzianowski wrote about how she found her boyfriend making out with another woman in a video posted on the Facebook page "Are We Dating the Same Guy?"
The page, which is intended for women in Tampa who are suspicious of their partners, has around 35,000 subscribers. Users of the page often share pictures of potential partners who display "red flags".
"Just silently swigging out of a bottle of wine on my boyfriend’s couch while he does the dishes because I just found out on social media in front of 35,000 people that he cheated on me and I’m going to have to confront him any second." Her video gathered more than 10 million views.
Miedzianowski later revealed that she stumbled upon the photo of her boyfriend, with whom she had been dating for six months, while mindlessly scrolling through the Facebook page.
She said that the woman in the photo had taken it the night her boyfriend cheated on her, and that the other woman anonymously told her the entire story in the comments, without directly contacting her.
“She never reached out to me, but she told me the entire story, anonymously, in the comments,” said Miedzianowski, who later confronted her boyfriend and ended the relationship.
Even though she was shocked and upset at first, Miedzianowski has been encouraged by the support she has received on social media.
“Everything happens for a reason, and I am lucky to have seen his true colors so early on,” she wrote on Instagram.
When asked if her ex-boyfriend is now with the woman who uploaded his photo on the "Are We Dating the Same Guy?" page, Miedzianowski remained silent.
She claims, though, that she is on the mend and ready to date again.
After ending what turned out to be a disastrous relationship, she remarked, "I hope to continue inspiring people to share their stories because that has helped me so much to move on."
