No, that’s not a ‘wife catches husband cheating’ story! Lil Yachty won’t ever stay silent about rumors questioning his abilities as a partner and father. On December 30, a Twitter user made claims about Lil Yachty, accusing him of being a "cheater, colorist darkskin, won't change his daughter's own diaper."

The user pointed to lyrics from Yachty's song "The Secret Recipe" and rumors of infidelity with Mariah The Scientist, his child's mother, as evidence. The user also mentioned an interview from October 2022 in which Lil Yachty stated he wouldn't change his daughter's diapers.
Lil Yachty quickly responded on Twitter, refuting the allegations. He clarified, "Man, y’all have to touch grass. There was no cheating. I am not a colorist in any shape or form.
I have changed my daughter’s diaper — it was simply a troll. I do not post my daughter because I do not owe you people that. Everything isn’t meant for social media. Y’all be losers."
He continued by explaining that he doesn't share every detail of his life on social media and emphasized that his child is not meant for public display. The rapper expressed his indifference to others' opinions about his parenting choices and mentioned that's why he hasn't shared images of his daughter.
It's worth noting that Lil Yachty and Selangie, a New York-based fashion designer, welcomed their daughter in October 2021.
Despite their reported split in early 2021, Lil Yachty has kept information about his daughter off social media. He has rarely discussed his fatherhood journey, choosing to maintain a level of privacy around his family life.
Who knows, maybe some of his fanbase already know how to catch a cheater online and discovered some cheating snaps?

Wilda Harrison, a relationship psychologist, says that everyone, even famous people like Lil Yachty, has the right to privacy in their personal lives, especially when it comes to their parenting choices.
"People should not base their opinions on rumors and speculation about how famous people act. Spending too much time on sensationalized stories can also take away from deeper conversations about how families and relationships work. People who set boundaries and avoid engaging in gossip have a deeper awareness of personal space and freedom," she notes.
