Johnson said, "I'm not going to comment on that" when asked about the claim that Trump paid $130,000 adult film actress Stormy Daniels for silence about their affair.
He said that the legal actions in Manhattan were a "disgrace" and that they were only against Trump because of who he is.
Daniels said in court that she and Trump, who was married at the time, cheated at a golf tournament in 2006, and then met at the Beverly Hills Hotel to talk about her going on his reality show. Trump has denied the affair despite Daniels' detailed account and did not testify.
Johnson shifted focus to accuse the Biden administration of orchestrating prosecutions against Trump but provided no specific evidence. He did not return to the topic of Trump's alleged adultery, which is condemned by in the Old Testament.
Johnson is married in a "covenant marriage," which in Louisiana means that he has to go to counseling before getting a divorce, and that there are only certain reasons for getting a divorce, like committing a felony, abandoning your partner, abusing them, being apart for a long time, or cheating.
