The stars of "Summer House," Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, have once again denied the rumors that Cooke is cheating on his wife.
Andy Cohen, the host of "Watch What Happens Live," recently asked Batula what she thought about a rumor from Deuxmoi that a "married" reality star with a "past cheating history" had cheated on his "wifey" last summer.
Batula replied, "I'm the only wife on the show, and I call him Cookie Monster." This proved that the blind item was about Cooke, and she laughed it off. She also said that the timing of the rumors seemed odd, since Cooke and Radke were having a bad relationship on-air before Radke quit Cooke's company, Loverboy.
Cooke himself also defended his actions, claiming that there wasn't a night last summer when he wasn't accounted for, and accusing the person who sent the anonymous email to Deuxmoi of waiting eight months to send it in. Batula added, "I live with him!" as further evidence of Cooke's fidelity.
The blind item has caused a stir in the "Summer House" fandom since it was posted on Instagram in mid-February, with Cohen asking other cast members for their thoughts. Danielle Olivera claimed on a subsequent episode of "WWHL" that the post was about Mya Allen's ex-boyfriend Oliver Gray, but Cohen was skeptical since Allen and Gray were never married.
"Watching Kyle and Amanda deal with the constant speculation and scrutiny surrounding their relationship is fascinating. The way they act, especially Amanda's sense of humor and Kyle's thorough defense, shows that they trust each other a lot," says Jennifer Pearson, a psychology coach.
