December is known as the busiest month for breakups, and Aaron warns that keeping your partner's phone a secret is the first sign that something is wrong. He told The Mirror, "If your partner changes passwords, becomes overly protective of their phone at home, or gets defensive when you ask to use their phone, it could be a sign that they are cheating on you."
Check to see how they put their phone away when not in use. If they put it face down, it could mean they are hiding something. He says that cheaters often don't give full reports of their days because they are afraid of being caught.
A sudden change in your sex life is another clear sign. Aaron says that cheaters may have less sex at home because they are cheating. In a strange way, some people may increase intimacy at home to get rid of their guilt, which can add new elements to their relationship.
The investigator also says that cheaters often "nitpick" at their partner's behavior to cover up the fact that they are cheating. For them, the problem might be their partner, making small things like not doing chores or walking the dog seem like big problems.
