They got engaged in 2017 during Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette.
According to Us Weekly, Abasolo has officially filed for divorce, marking December 31 as their date of separation.
New year, new chapter for them. The tabloid also notes that Abasolo is seeking spousal support from Lindsay.
In an Instagram statement, where he goes by the name Dr. Abs, Abasolo shared, "After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew.
My parents have been married forever, and I'm a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go."
Lindsay posted an Instagram Reel showcasing her 2023 highlights, which included photos with Abasolo.
She captioned it with, "Definitely one of the hardest years of my life, but choosing to focus on grateful moments and carrying that energy into 2024." Good for her!
"Well, it's sad to see Bryan Abasolo and Rachel Lindsay parting ways after four years, especially after getting engaged on TV. But hey, making a marriage last for that long, even if it ends, still shows commitment and growth. Sometimes, moving on is the best decision for both parties' well-being, even if it's tough," says Wilda Harrison, a relationship psychologist.
