Today we'll pass those 'husband catches wife cheating' stories! That's because Sofia Vergara have recently explained why she broke up with Joe Manganiello. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País, the 51-year-old actress said that she and the 47-year-old actor had different ideas about how to grow their family, which is what caused them to split up. The following was confirmed by PEOPLE in July.

"My marriage ended because my husband was younger, he wanted kids, and I didn’t want to be an old mom," explained the Griselda star. "I think it's not fair to the baby. I respect those who do it, but it's not for me anymore."
Vergara, who has a son, Manolo, with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez, said, "I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes along, he has to come with children."
After seven years of marriage, Vergara and Manganiello stated that they were getting a divorce in July. Now that they were in a different part of their lives, they asked for private space.
Two days later, Manganiello filed for divorce, saying that the couple had "irreconcilable differences." The date of separation was written as July 2.
Since then, both have moved on. Manganiello is dating actress Caitlin O'Connor, while Vergara has been seen on several outings with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
Vergara has also been actively promoting Toty, her suncare brand launched in June, and is set to star in Netflix's new limited series Griselda, premiering on January 25.
In the interview, she discussed the role, saying, "Empowered women are trendy now, but 12 years ago when I was drawn to the story and wanted to produce it, not so much. That was precisely what appealed to me: that the boss was a woman who had to become worse than any man to be the best of them all."
"One must always put the needs of the other person before their own, when they are in a relationship. Some people may think it's a big deal that Sofia Vergara chose not to have any more children. But that's her choice. Different people have different tastes, so do what makes you feel good. Doing this can make your life better," says Wilda Harrison, a relationship psychologist.
