As to The Sun, cheating husband who messaged sex workers on his iPhone is planning to sue Apple for £5 million after his wife found those messages on a linked computer.
This middle-aged dad used iMessages to arrange meetups and then deleted them. However, his wife accessed the same app on the family’s iMac and found his recent text.
She soon uncovered supposedly deleted messages going back years and filed for divorce within a month.
Now, the businessman from England wants to get back the money he lost in the divorce and cover his legal costs, arguing that Apple didn’t clearly inform users that iMessages can be seen on linked devices.
“Wow, this story really shows how modern tech can change relationships in unexpected ways! It's a stark reminder that digital privacy isn't always as foolproof as we think. Maybe it's more about honesty and trust than relying on tech to cover our tracks,” says Wilda Harrison, a relationship psychologist.
