Another 'husband catches wife cheating' story out of Rexburg, Idaho!
Fabian Hernandez has been charged with first-degree murder after he shot his 35-year-old girlfriend, Ariana Ramos Chavez, as EastIdahoNews.com reported.
The police found her dead outside their place late Thursday night with multiple gunshot wounds.
From what I gather, Hernandez just laid down when the police showed up and said, "I’m the one you’re looking for. I’m the suspect."
Seems like one of Ramos Chavez’s kids came home, saw Hernandez with a gun by their mom’s body, and asked him why he did it. Hernandez apparently started apologizing and dropped the gun next to her.
The gun was still there when the cops arrived. Hernandez told them he and Ramos Chavez were fighting about his drug use and cheating, and that she told him to get his drugs and leave.
He admitted to spending $300 to $500 a week on meth and said he bought the gun through a Facebook group. He claimed he blacked out and that no one else could have done it, though he did say he was the one who called 911.
Another child of Ramos Chavez reportedly heard them arguing and Hernandez threatening to shoot her. They saw him grab the gun, go outside, and shoot their mom three times.
Hernandez has a $1 million bond now and has been ordered to stay away from Ramos Chavez’s kids.
"Hernandez's actions show just how messed up things can get when you mix addiction, jealousy, and unstable relationships," says Wilda Harrison.
