No, we aren’t going to talk about those ‘wife catches husband cheating’ rumors! Things got even more serious! Socialite and oil heiress Ivy Getty is splitting from her husband, actor Tobias Engel, after being married for four years.
Reports from Page Six suggest that it seems like Getty filed for divorce in January, as she has removed most of the photos of Engel from her Instagram. Apparently, Getty, who's very careful about legal stuff, had a prenup before they got hitched.

Remember their lavish wedding? They threw a big one in 2021, with Persian rugs all over San Francisco’s City Hall, and Nancy Pelosi officiating. Anya Taylor-Joy was the maid of honor, by the way.
Engel, born in Vienna to Austrian businessman Peter Engel and English actress Cheryl Prime, met Getty at Paris Fashion Week. He proposed in Capri, Italy, at sunset.
Getty's great-grandfather was the owner of Getty Oil and once the richest man globally.
He’s known for refusing to pay his grandson's $17 million ransom after he was kidnapped in the '70s, but ended up paying $2.2 million after his severed ear was sent to a newspaper in Rome.
Getty's mother is jewelry designer Alyssa Boothby.
Page Six says that Getty and Engel's divorce is a bit messy and “contested,” meaning they couldn't agree before filing.
“Celebrities’ divorces can get really messy and tough emotionally for both of them. It just shows that even the fanciest relationships can hit some rough patches,” comments Wilda Harrison, a relationship counselor.
