No, it’s not a typical story where husband catches wife cheating! An insider at Us Weekly says that in her upcoming memoir, "The Woman in Me," Spears talks about a night she spent dancing and getting close to Robson at a Spanish bar while she was dating Timberlake at the time.
Spears says that she and Timberlake decided to move on from the cheating because she has always loved and been loyal to him.
There have been rumors that Spears cheated on Timberlake ever since the music video for Timberlake's song "Cry Me a River" came out in 2003, a year after the couple broke up.
As a hint that Spears was cheating, the music video had a lookalike of her. In a 2003 interview with Rolling Stone, Spears talked about this again and said that Timberlake had told her about the controversial video.
In her autobiography, Spears admits that she cheated on Timberlake with another famous woman and also says that she cheated on him with her. Interestingly, she doesn't say the person's name because she now has her own family.
Britney says more than just about cheating in her autobiography. In the early 2000s, she told everyone that she got pregnant while dating the "SexyBack" singer.
In a part of her memoir, Spears wrote that Justin wasn't excited about the pregnancy and thought they weren't ready to be parents. She made it clear why she had an abortion: Timberlake was adamant that they would not have a child.
Before the memoir came out, people who were close to the situation had different ideas about how it may affect things. Some people said Justin Timberlake probably wouldn't like what was in it, which meant Spears could talk to him directly. Yet another source made it clear that Spears only wants to tell her side of the story.
"What do I think? Relationships are complicated, and cheating isn't always a clear-cut betrayal for sure. What Britney wrote in her autobiography can make us think more deeply about our simple relationship ideas," notes Wilda Harrison, a relationship psychologist.
