'Till death do us part' is a promise that often goes with problems that no one saw coming, which breaks the hearts of many couples. Sadly, this hard truth hit a mother and daughter who knew how to find cheating husband.

Valerie Techentin shared her family's story on TikTok as her teenage daughter planned a way to show that her father was cheating on her. Techentin was looking forward to spending time with her daughter, even though she was sick and had to have multiple surgeries. But things went wrong at their mother-daughter dinner when fears were raised.
Convinced her dad was cheating, the daughter led her mom to investigate. The parking lot rendezvous turned dark as they observed the father and co-worker returning to his car. The daughter talked to her dad about it while her sick mother recorded from the car, capturing a very tragic moment.
Techentin later talked about the argument her daughter had, recognizing that her daughter was right. Even though she trusted her husband at first, she soon learned that he had betrayed her. At first, the family's battle was kept secret, but it was later shared on TikTok to help other people going through similar problems.
It was said that the husband wouldn't pay for his new girlfriend's hospital bills because he thought she was using him. After a year, Techentin had to have her third surgery but was broke because they had lost their home and car.
Despite forgiving her husband initially, he played her again, prompting lessons learned the hard way. Bedridden and sick, Techentin revealed her husband moved in with his new girlfriend, accusing them of prioritizing money over their child's well-being.
In later videos, she said negative things about the couple's actions and called his mistress manipulative and him greedy. The husband and his new girlfriend admitted to not handling things 'the right way' in a TikTok video shared by Techentin.
Amid blame-shifting and defensiveness, the reality remained—a declining health, mounting bills, and a daughter traumatized by her father's affair. Despite the aftermath appearing worse than the infidelity itself, the path to healing for this mother and daughter lies in facing the truth, grieving, and moving forward together. Knowing the truth gives you the strength to heal, so you don't have to suffer for a long time in the shadows of ignorance.
Such an interesting story on how to catch someone cheating, isn’t it? Jennifer Pearson, a relationship psychologist, has something to say about that: "I think this story comes up with some bigger problems: not trusting and talking to each other. Being upset about cheating is normal, but making plans isn't the solution. Couples should talk to each other, and work out their problems together, instead of trying to catch each other cheating."
